Bob Bryar was the last official drummer of My Chemical Romance.

My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has been found dead, aged 44.

According to TMZ, Bryar was found dead in his Tennessee home on Tuesday.

He was last seen alive on November 4.

The cause of death is unknown, however, the outlet reported no foul play was expected.

A medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, TMZ reported.

Bryar was the last official drummer with the band, which rose to popularity in the mid-2000s, performing with them between 2004 and 2010.

Bryar met the band, made up of Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Mikey Way and Frank Iero, while working as a touring sound technician for The Used, who My Chemical Romance was on tour with at the time.

He replaced the band's former drummer, Matt Pelissier, shortly after the release of their second album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.

According to Billboard, Bryar was asked to replace Pelissier mid-2004 before the band had ever heard him drum.

Bryar continued to tour with the band as a part of their critically acclaimed third studio album The Black Parade.

During his time with the band, he was injured a number of times.

Bryar suffered third-degree burns when his hands and legs caught fire shooting the Famous Last Words video, where Gerard Way also suffered torn ligaments in his ankle, causing the band to cancel upcoming tour dates.

While on tour in 2007, Bryar began having problems with his wrists, telling his MySpace followers he had a "golf ball-sized lump" in his wrist that caused pain and made him lose control and feeling in his fingers, NME reported at the time.

Not long after My Chemical Romance's fourth album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, was released in 2010, Bryar left the band.

His departure was announced on the band's website by guitarist Frank Iero.

"His was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly," Iero wrote at the time.

"We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same."

In 2014, Bryar left the music industry, auctioning off some of his My Chemical Romance memorabilia to support numerous animal rescue groups.

In a since-deleted 2014 tweet, Bryar announced he was leaving the music industry to pursue working in real estate.

My Chemical Romance was scheduled to play a number of stadium shows next year in the US and Canada in celebration of The Black Parade. Bryar was not due to play.
